South Buncombe Baseball & Softball - Spring 2025

Welcome to South Buncombe Youth Sports Programs! We strive to develop the individual, the family, and the community through participation in youth sports. Our programs allow youth to develop skills, learn about teamwork, and focus on sportsmanship so that they can participate in competitive sports in a healthy and fun way.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • How much is registration?: $90 per player until 3/8/25. There is a $15 late registration fee after 3/8/25.
  • What does the registration fee cover?: Practices, games, field usage, uniform, insurance, referees.
  • When are practices?: Practices will start the week of 3/24/25 with 2 practices per week. We practice Monday through Saturday. Your practices will be 2 days during this time. They will be the same 2 days each week. Once games start, we do have have practices.
  • When are evaluations?: Evaluations will be 3/22/25
  • Where do we practice?: We use the fields located on Long Shoals Road at Valley Springs Middle School?
  • When are games?: Games will begin the week of 4/21/25 and the season will end 5/30/25. Games could be any day Monday - Saturday.
  • When is picture day?: Picture day will be 4/26/25
  • What equipment does my child need?: The league will provide uniform shirts and hats. Your child will need a glove, cleats, bat and batting helmet.
